Helicopter Twirls Uncontrollably into Palm Groves at Frequented California Coast
An aircraft flying near a crowded southern California beach suddenly started spinning uncontrollably, eventually dropping height and plunging into a row of palm groves as beachgoers watched.
Recordings posted on the internet capture the aircraft starting to spin above Huntington Beach then plunging near the perimeter of the beach, where it gets stuck amidst palms and a steps adjacent to the coastal road.
Rescue Operation Information
Local firefighters reported five individuals were taken to hospital comprising two who were in the helicopter and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” after the crash on that day.
Three persons on the road were injured. Information on their injuries were still under review.
The reason for the accident was not yet disclosed.

Authorities mentioned the chopper was connected to an annual “Cars and Copters” benefit occasion set for Sunday.
