Arriving just as spooky festivities kicks off, among the highest-rated horror films of the past few years is set for a special return to movie houses, now exclusively in IMAX format.

The feature called Sinners: The Tale, that's the work of filmmaker Ryan Coogler, is scheduled to come back in participating IMAX theaters commencing October 30, running for an exclusive week-long engagement until November 5.

If you watched the film throughout its first release, you're aware the sheer amazing possibility this represents for another watch on the big screen.

But, if your initial watch did not include IMAX, this is your chance to make up for it, as the movie looks completely spectacular when shown on a IMAX screen.

Bearing in mind how the initial theatrical run was abbreviated in terms of IMAX showings, because of a different release taking over those slots soon after release, this might turn out to be the initial chance to see the film in IMAX.

The director has earlier revealed an upcoming X-Files reboot in production.

Discussing additional factors drives his choice to reimagine the popular series, he shared:

Similar to my connection to Rocky and my father, the show is one of those things to my mom.

My mom is everything for me — she is present this evening — so this is a major project personally.

I want to do right for her and the fans. My mother has looked at part of the writing I wrote for the project. She is enthusiastic.

It's unclear exactly when Coogler’s take on the iconic series will make the light of day.
